But I'm not going to salute all of them — by now you've read other "snub" columns — instead I am going to write about two nominated individuals whom I believe deserved to win Tony Awards over their competition: Tracie Bennett and Hugh Vanstone.
Mike Nichols picked up his sixth Tony Award on Sunday for directing the recent revival of Arthur Miller's "Death of a Salesman." Nichols, 80, thanked Rebecca Miller, the daughter of the playwright, as well as the cast and crew of the production.
